On Wednesday 6th December Broomwood Primary School will be holding their inaugural Winter Wonderland. Children will be invited to return to school between the hours of 4.00-5.30pm to enjoy a fun filled festive extravaganza. With each ticket children will be able to hunt for their own Christmas gift, enjoy a cup of festive punch and devour a delicious seasonal biscuit. Tickets will be priced at £5 a child. In addition, there will also be plenty of stalls, games and a Santa's Grotto to help us all get into the festive mood.
So come and join us at Broomwood's Winter Wonderland!
Christmas Raffle
Staff in the school have donated some gorgeous things to create some hampers. If you would like to take part in the raffle, we would ask that you pay via parent pay by Monday 18th DECEMBER. On Wednesday 20th December we will pull out the winning numbers. All money goes to FoBs (Friends of Broomwood) and will be used for your children.
Please note, the annual trip to watch the Pantomime at Stockport Plaza takes place on Wednesday December 20th. This is a trip for all children from Yrs1 to Yr 6. This is a compulsory school day so if your child does not attend the pantomime , they must attend school as normal.
If we have not received payment, or had a conversation, by Friday 8th December then we will not allocate your child a place on the trip.
Any problems, please contact the office staff, Mrs Owen or Miss Taylor.
Many thanks
School Dinners
School dinners are £2.50.
Children in full time Nursery and KS2 (Year 3, 4, 5 and 6) are required to pay for lunches (unless you are on free school meals), but lunches for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are free.
If you would like your child to go onto school dinners now that weather is getting colder, please contact the school office. We do require a week's notice to change onto school dinners.
Who will receive one of our Broomwood Primary School Postcards this week.
Keep an eye out for the post, it could be you this week!
